PTC Custom Fit Charcoal Cabin Air Filter Installation - 2017 Toyota Prius v

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the PTC custom-fit charcoal cabin air filter on our 2017 Prius V. Now a cabin air filter's going to do for your car what a furnace filter does for your house. It's going to filter all the air before it goes through our vents, making sure we have the freshest and cleanest air we can.Now over time what's going to happen is our filter will get filled up with dirt and get clogged, and the air's not going to be able to flow through. That's going to build up a lot of pressure in our heating and cooling system which can get down the road and cause a lot of damage. So you want to make sure that you check your filter about every 12- to 18,000 miles or once a year, or you can double check your owner's manual for a specific time. But we're going to go ahead and check ours and replace it if we need to. We're going to start out by coming to the passenger's side and we're going to open up the lower section of our glove box. more
